Erupting from the Baltimore asphalt in early 2012, Foghound have honed their fuzzed out grooves through the systematic wrecking of stages and eardrums across the East Coast of America.

Their debut album, Quick, Dirty & High, released in 2014 on Moving The Earth Records showcased a full-throttle hill climb of dirty stoner rock that made no bones about its heavy intentions. Seeking from the very beginning to garner as much international acclaim as possible, the album landed itself on multiple ‘Best Of Year’ lists compiled by members of the underground rock/stoner community. But even before the dust had time to settle, the band were already plotting an ambitious second to follow an impressive first.

Recorded in January 2015 in Raleigh, North Carolina onto 2” analog tape by Corrosion Of Conformity’s Mike Dean, and later mixed by Frank “The Punisher” Marchand in Annapolis, Maryland, The World Unseen highlights the band’s growth as darker lyrical images lay the groundwork for even bigger riffs, layered vocals and more focused and textured dynamics. From the brooding opening guitar chimes and consequential crunch of, ‘Above The Wake’ to the explosive riff exchanges that close ‘Never Return’, it exposes an entirely new side to Foghound.

Supercharging an already high performance vehicle that sets out to redefine their sound in 2016, Foghound’s powerhouse rhythm section comprises of founding members of Sixty Watt Shaman, bassist Rev. Jim Forrester and drummer/vocalist Charles Dukehart III. Completing the fearsome line-up are riff slingers Dee Settar and Bob Sipes, the latter of whom shares lead vocals duties with drummer Charles to remarkable effect.
